How AAIP draws work
- AAIP invites candidates from its pool of worker expressions of interest. Each draw targets a stream, a pathway or another focus, such as a priority sector, and AAIP publishes the minimum score of the candidates it invited and the number of invitations.
- Draws are not held on a fixed schedule. AAIP holds them as needed to address sector needs and provincial priorities.
- The EOI score is not the only selection factor: AAIP also considers other information in the EOI and does not disclose recent draw parameters.
- Where a count is small, AAIP publishes “Less than 10” instead of an exact number. DrawRelay shows that text as published and leaves those draws out of invitation totals.
- The minimum scores are AAIP expression of interest scores, not federal CRS scores, so they cannot be compared with Express Entry cutoffs.
